La tramontane s\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e8re en passant entre les Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es et le sud du Massif central. La tramontane est proche du mistral par son origine et ses effets, mais il s\u2019agit de deux vents diff\u00e9rents.<sup id=\"cite_ref-2\" class=\"reference\"><span class=\"cite_crochet\">[<\/span>3<span class=\"cite_crochet\">]<\/span><\/sup><sup id=\"cite_ref-3\" class=\"reference\"><span class=\"cite_crochet\">[<\/span>4<span class=\"cite_crochet\">]<\/span><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Mistral et tramontane ont les m\u00eames causes m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques et sensiblement les m\u00eames effets. Cependant, les couloirs montagneux utilis\u00e9s sont diff\u00e9rents entre les deux vents :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Couloir d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration utilis\u00e9\u00a0:\n<ul>\n<li>Tramontane\u00a0: entre les Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es et le Sud du Massif central.<\/li>\n<li>Mistral\u00a0: entre l\u2019Est du Massif central et l\u2019Ouest des Alpes (vall\u00e9e du Rh\u00f4ne)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La tramontane est une forme de foehn. Ce vent violent peut avoir des effets perturbateurs sur l\u2019\u00e9quilibre psychique.
