L’hectopascal (symbole : hPa) est une unit\u00e9 de mesure de pression utilis\u00e9e en m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie. Elle correspond \u00e0 une pression de 100 pascals, soit environ 1 millibar.<\/p>\n

L’hectopascal est couramment utilis\u00e9 pour mesurer la pression atmosph\u00e9rique. La pression atmosph\u00e9rique varie en fonction de l’altitude, de la temp\u00e9rature, de l’humidit\u00e9 et d’autres facteurs m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques. La pression atmosph\u00e9rique au niveau de la mer est d’environ 1013 \u00e0 1015\u00a0 hPa. On parle ainsi de marais barom\u00e9trique. Les m\u00e9t\u00e9orologues utilisent souvent l’\u00e9volution de la pression atmosph\u00e9rique pour pr\u00e9voir les conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques.<\/p>\n

L’hectopascal est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 pour mesurer la pression dans les pneus, les chambres hyperbares, les avions, les ballons et autres dispositifs similaires.<\/p>\n
